Description:

The stunning collection of paintings by French Impressionist, Post-Impressionist and early Modern artists held by The Barnes Foundation makes it one of the top resources in the world for studying these periods of art history. With vast holdings of works by Renoir, Cezanne, Picasso, Rousseau and many others, the collection is supplemented by works from American artists, ancient Greek sculptures, Native American items, Medieval manuscripts and more. It sits about a mile and a half west of Philadelphia's famous Fairmount Park.

Reservations required. Open Sep - Jun: Fri. - Sun. 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Jul - Aug: Wed. - Sun. 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
